Saysort for iPhone and iPad · last updated 10 October 2026

Short version. Saysort sends what you say to your own Hermes Agent, the server you connect it to. We, SMBDM Technology L.L.C, don’t receive your voice, your transcripts or your messages. The app has no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs.

Who we are

Saysort is made by SMBDM Technology L.L.C, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Privacy questions: privacy@saysort.app.

What happens to your voice

  • Live transcript. While you talk, Apple’s speech recognition turns your speech into text, on the device where your language supports it. If on-device recognition is not available for your language, iOS may use Apple’s servers for it, and the app tells you so. Apple’s handling is covered by Apple’s privacy policy.
  • Your agent. When you finish speaking, the app sends the recording and the text to the Hermes Agent server you connected. Your server may transcribe the audio again with your own dictionary, run your request, and send back a reply as text and audio. What your server does next, including which AI providers it uses, depends on how you or your administrator set it up.
  • Real-time voice (optional). If you turn this mode on, your server gives the app a short-lived key and the app streams your audio straight to the real-time speech provider your server is set up with. That provider’s own terms apply. Standard mode doesn’t do this.
  • Demo mode uses sample data on the device and sends nothing anywhere.

What stays on your device

  • Your server address and access token, stored in the iOS Keychain.
  • A cache of your recent conversation so it’s there when you reopen the app. You can clear it by deleting the app.
  • Your settings, such as voice mode, speaking speed and hands-free sensitivity.

Permissions

  • Microphone: only while you are talking. That means after you tap the mic, or while hands-free mode is on. iOS shows its microphone indicator whenever the mic is in use.
  • Speech recognition: to show the live transcript.

What we don’t collect

No account, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no crash-reporting SDKs, no location, no contacts. We don’t sell or share data, because we don’t receive it. If you choose to share crash reports with developers in iOS settings, Apple passes those to us under Apple’s terms.

Children

Saysort is a tool for adults who run their own AI agent. It is not directed at children.

This website

saysort.app is a static site with no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. Our host, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security and operations.

If things change

If a future version adds something that handles your data differently, such as push notifications, we’ll update this page before that version ships and change the date at the top.
